2 Thessalonians 3:1

As Paul transitions from correcting false doctrine to enforcing ethical admonitions, he takes up the topic of praying for the missionary success of the preached word. For the preached word to run swiftly and save souls, the whole church must give all diligence to fervent prayer. If the people of God pray relentlessly for the word then God will glorify it through manifesting its power in saving sinners.
