Acts 16:16-24
As Paul heads out for mission at the “place of prayer” he encounters demonic opposition as the slave-girl possessed by the spirit of python meets him in the way. This message explores encounter with the serpent in the form of missionary opposition. In spite of Satan’s best attempts to thwart Christ’s kingdom purposes, this text shows that gospel mission stands firm and victorious when it is engaged in the powerful name of Jesus Christ.
