In the third snapshot of the Antioch church, Luke shows a church which was making great progress in spiritual maturity. Blessed with great teaching and shepherding, the church manifested a growing maturity through responsiveness to the word, serving the needs of others, and respecting proper church government. Through this series of pictures Luke provides insight into how the Antioch church was prepared by the Lord to become the missionary powerhouse of the ancient church.
