Gospel Mission from the Ground Up

Acts 18:1-4

Building a church plant from scratch is hard work, and, it is even more difficult when only one person is committed to the mission. Paul found himself alone in the big city of Corinth with no support and no family or friends, yet, he had a call from God to plant a church. The intentional strategy Paul used to build the mission work in Corinth was simple but effective: find a place to stay, find a job, and multiply coworkers. With these things in place, Paul began preaching the gospel and the Lord took care of the rest. This message shows that building a foundation for mission in an intentional way is an essential feature of successful church planting.
