The believers “scattered” from Jerusalem on account of persecution began speaking the gospel wherever they went but to Jews only. When they made their way to Antioch years later, they made a determination to begin speaking the gospel to the Greeks also. This change in evangelistic practice marked a major turning point in the history of Christians missions. The Lord’s hand was with these church planters and multitudes were saved and thus the first intentionally planted Gentile church took root. This message examines the fundamentals of church planting which can be learned from these missionary trailblazers.
